IARRP team hosts 4th International Forum on Sustainable Development Big Data Sub-Forum

The sub-forum of the Fourth International Forum on Sustainable Development Big Data, themed "Digital Technologies to Empower Sustainable Agriculture," was held on Sept 7 at the Beijing International Convention Center.

The sub-forum was jointly hosted by Professor Wu Wenbin, Director of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Professor Marie Weiss, Director of the Agricultural Remote Sensing Team at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRAE-CAPTE). During the event, Professor Marie Weiss, Associate Professor Yang Hao from the Information Center of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, Researcher Dong Jinwei from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Li Wenjuan from the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Professor Zuo Lijun from the Aerospace Information Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered academic presentations on the sub-forum's theme. They shared research progress in sustainable agricultural development and engaged in lively discussions with the participants.

The presentations at the sub-forum were innovative and forward-looking, expanding the participants' knowledge while facilitating exchanges and learning within their respective research fields. This not only elevated the academic standards but also contributed to the goal of sustainable development, particularly in the pursuit of achieving "Zero Hunger."
