On Aug 7, the unveiling ceremony and the first phase of study and training activities of the "Grassland Girls" eco-grassland and pastoralism women's study station was held in Hailar district, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The Hulunbuir Women's Federation, in collaboration with the Hulunbuir Grassland Ecosystem Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (here in after referred to as the Hulunbuir National Field Station), jointly established the "Grassland Girls" eco-grassland and pastoralism women's study station.

It aims to fully leverage the unique role of women in ecological protection, grassland and pastoralism development and rural revitalization. The study station aims to guide women to practice the new concept of ecological priority and green development, and to demonstrate new achievements in the construction of the "Two Shields, Two Bases, and One Bridgehead" in the autonomous region.

The "Grassland Girls" study station in Hulunbuir focuses on providing services in the form of seminars, field observations, interactive exchanges, and practical training. It primarily serves women in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Hulunbuir. The station focuses on grassland ecological protection and scientific utilization, transformation of grassland and pastoralism technological achievements, and the development of green agriculture and animal husbandry.

The main objectives are to enhance women's ecological civilization concepts, improve women's scientific literacy, enhance women's labor skills, and broaden women's spiritual and cultural horizons. The study station aims to create models such as "Study + Hulunbuir Women's Lecture Hall", "Study + Mobile Women's Home", "Study + Hulunbuir Loving Mothers Group", and "Study + Entrepreneurship and Employment for Female University Students". It aims to build a bridge between scientific teams and female farmers and herders, combining practical experiences with scientific research results to provide scientific guidance for production practice while offering firsthand material support to scientists. This will inspire women to carry forward the "Mongolian Horse Spirit" and "Three Northern Spirits", contributing to the writing of a new chapter of modernization in Hulunbuir powered by women.

During the event, Ulan Tuoya, the chairwoman of the Hulunbuir Women's Federation, and Xin Xiaoping, the director of the Hulunbuir National Field Station, jointly unveiled the "Hulunbuir 'Grassland Girls' Eco-grassland and Pastoralism Women's Study Station". Through expert lectures, exchanges, and on-site observations, the participants received training in areas such as ecological protection, grassland restoration, and grassland and pastoralism development.

In the next step, the "Grassland Girls" study station in Hulunbuir will hold study and training activities in stages, actively guiding women to embark on new paths and make contributions in the new journey.
