According to data from the Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals (Social Science) (2021), the influence index CI of Chinese humanities and social science journals was calculated and ranked. The overall CI ranking of "China Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning" was in the 5 to 10 percent, winning the 2021 Internationally Influential Chinese Academic Journals" award.

The CNKI released the Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals (Social Science) (2021) in Oct 2021. The report was jointly developed by the China Academic Literature International Evaluation Research Center and the Tsinghua University Library.

Through the mining of data from more than 20,000 international academic journals, the report analyzes the international citation status of China's academic journals and cites the total citation frequency (TC), Impact factor (IF), impact index (CI) and other important journal evaluation indicators. The top 5 percent-ranked journals by CI are selected as China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals, and 5 to 10 percent are 2021 Internationally Influential Chinese Academic Journals.
