Jia Guangdong, the CAAS Graduate School secretary of the Party Committee; Wang Xiufang, the IARRP secretary of the Party Committee; and mentor representatives such as Luo Qiyu, Zhang Wenju, and Wei Hailei attended the ceremony. The event was hosted by Zhang Xiaoli, director of the Graduate Education and International Cooperation Office.

Jia Guangdong delivered a speech representing the Graduate School, which encouraged the graduates to pursuit progress, strive for excellence, and carry forward the spirit of agricultural science in their pursuit of knowledge, career development and life choices. He urged them to become pillars of the nation, to uphold the ideals of serving the people, to pursue lofty ideals, and to enhance their capabilities.

Doctoral representative Zhang Liyu, master's representative Wang Weiyan, and international student representative PATIENCE AFI SEGLAH shared their insights and experiences during their graduate studies. They expressed gratitude to the institute on behalf of the graduating students, promised to remember the teachings of "integrity in character, diligence in work" and uphold their original intentions while courageously scaling new heights.

Student representative Zhang Yijia expressed gratitude and reluctance to her senior peers. She urged current students to take the outstanding graduates as role models, to   study diligently, hardworking in practical experiences and dare to innovate.

Wei Hailei, representing the mentors, congratulated the graduates on their achievements and expressed earnest expectations for their future. He encouraged them to establish ideals and strengthen qualities, diligently learn and practice their skills, and seize opportunities with courage.

Wang Xiufang recognized the outstanding achievements of the graduating students in the impact of the pandemic over the past three years. She urged the graduates to actively pursue their lofty dreams, carry on the legacy of agricultural development, strive for a better life, and contribute their youth, wisdom and strength to the construction of agricultural power.
