On July 14, the 11th Graduate Student Union Inauguration and Symposium took place at the Kehai Forest Student Conference Room. Members of the Graduate School Office and the entire Graduate Student Union attended the successful event.

The meeting began with Kang Jiahao, the rotating chair of the 10th Graduate Student Union, providing a comprehensive report on the achievements and activities of the previous term.  Subsequently, the Graduate School Office outlined the transition details and announced the composition of the 11th Graduate Student Union. In a speech representing the new committee, Zhou Lijun, the newly appointed chair, expressed a commitment to upholding the union’s esteemed traditions, enhancing work efficiency, and continuing to serve as a vital link between the students and the administration. During the meeting, members of the Graduate Student Union shared their opinions and suggestions on departmental structure and responsibilities, fostering interaction among students from different disciplines, organizing academic activities, creating campus brand events, and improving study and work conditions for students. The Graduate School Office congratulated the new union on its establishment, urging them to refine organizational structures and regulations, maintain close contact with the student body, and effectively plan and summarize activities. They emphasized the importance of responsibility, dedication, and personal development in enhancing work capabilities.
