1. The student, who has good moral character and excellent academic performance, will be awarded according to the rules of CSC and GSCAAS. The award should be the same as the Chinese postgraduates unless otherwise specified in any regulation.
2. The student, who violates and breaches Chinese Law and Regulation as well as rules of GSCAAS, should be given a punishment of warning, serious warning, demerit, probation, and even expulsion, depending on the seriousness of case. The procedure of punishment should be in line with the regulations of the Chinese postgraduates. The results of the punishment will be reported to the Ministry of Education and corresponding educational authorities in Beijing, and will also be notified to the embassy in China in some serious cases.
