Responsible for the education and management of graduate education within the institute.

1. To be responsible for the establishment of graduate education system. To implement policies and opinions of the country the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences concerning graduate education, and promote the formulation of development plans, regulations, and management methods related to graduate education.

2. To promote the development of academic disciplines and the capacity building of tutors for graduate education, advance the application, adjustment and appraisal, tutor training, the selection of reserve plans, and annual quality review of graduate education, and conduct education on the ideological and political education of graduate students and professional ethics of tutors.

3. To be responsible for the enrollment, education, training, and management of graduate students. To undertake the compilation and implementation of annual graduate student enrollment plans, the whole-procedure education of on-campus students, the graduation and employment affairs, the management and education of graduate students jointly cultivated by Chinese and international universities, visiting and intern graduate students, and organize the application of allowances, rewards, scholarships and outstanding thesis. To be responsible for daily operation of the institute's degree evaluation committee office.

4. To complete other tasks assigned by the institute's leadership.
