Yi Keke

Yi Keke, born in Jiangxi province in April 1976, is a member of the Jiusan Society, a professor, and a doctoral supervisor. Yi graduated from the John Innes Centre/University of East Anglia with a doctorate in philosophy in August 2008. Currently, Yi serves as Deputy Director General of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), and Vice President of the Soil Science Society of China (SSSC).

Since August 2000, Yi has been engaged at Zhejiang University, the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP) of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), serving as a lecturer, associate professor, researcher, and director of the Soil-Plant Interaction Laboratory.

Focusing on high-efficiency research on nutrients in soil-plant interactions, Yi's projects have been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Excellent Young Scientists Fund, the Ministry of Science and Technology National Key Research and Development Special Project, and the National 863 Program. He has won first prize in the Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Progress Awards.

In addition, he has published more than 50 papers in journals such as Science, Nature Genetics, Nature Plants, PNAS, and Plant Cell.
