African agriculture officials visit IARRP

On July 17th, 19 agricultural officials from 12 African countries (Benin, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Madagascar, Niger, Senegal, Chad, the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo) visited the Institute of Agricultural Resource and Regional Planning (IARRP) of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) in Beijing.
Chen Jinqiang, Secretary of the CPC in the IARRP, and Yang Peng, the chief of research administration office, introduced general information, research fields, laboratories and experimental stations of IARRP and communicated the edible mushroom cultivation, agricultural monitoring, and soil and fertilize management to the visitors. Hereafter, the delegation also visited the Agricultural Remote Sensing and Digital Agriculture Laboratory in IARRP.
The visit was organized as a part of the Workshop of Agricultural Natural Resource Management for French-speaking African Countries undertaken by the Ministry of Agricultural (MOA), China, which was to disseminate advanced development experiences of agricultural resources regionalization in China and to promote the combination of theory and practice.
