Innovation Team of Improvement and Amelioration of Soil Fertility

IARRP | Updated: 2021-07-08

Research contents:

The Innovation Team of Improvement and Amelioration of Soil Fertility conducts research on the evolution and improvement of soil organic matter, soil nitrogen transformation and fertility, soil phosphorus and potassium transformation and regulation, soil acidity and acidification improvement, soil structure and soil layer construction, soil water and fertilizer interaction and regulation and soil biological fertility and ecological function reconstruction.

The team has innovative platforms such as the National Engineering Laboratory for Improving Quality of Arable Land and the National Soil Quality Data Center.

Research objectives:

The team analyzes the evolutionary process mechanism of soil chemical, physical, and biological fertility; innovates farmland fertility improvement theories and technologies; and constructs regional cultivated land quality improvement technical models and demonstration projects.

Research direction:

The team’s focus is on soil fertility evolution and fertilization, soil water and fertilizer coupling and efficient use, and typical barrier and degenerated soil improvement.

Team members:

Established in 2013, the team has 14 members. They are:
